Best Time To Visit Greece

For a classic beach holiday, the best time to visit Greece is May to October. The summer months of July and August are the warmest and busiest, with higher hotel prices. From mid‑September, temperatures stay pleasantly warm, the sea is ideal for swimming, and prices tend to ease.

For sightseeing and outdoor activities, spring (February to May) and autumn (September to November) are ideal. These months offer milder temperatures — perfect for exploring, hiking and discovering Greece at a slower pace.
